A warm timber frame house is the only option for the countryside

John and Margaret McKenna from Glaslough county Monaghan are building their first timber frame home after living 18 years in a block house. John says choosing timber frame was easy. “We wanted a warm house and we knew that a timber frame home was the only option.”

John says choosing Kingspan Century as their company was simple. “Monaghan is my local town, and I knew Kingspan Century have a great track record. It was great to be able to support a local company in the knowledge that you were getting the best.”

Their house is 2600 sq feet with two sitting rooms a kitchen, family room, dining room, study, toilet, bathrooms conservatory and four large bedrooms, with the master bedroom en-suite.

While building a new home and deciding on a company can be difficult John and Margaret said Kingspan Century made the whole process very easy. “The customer service was excellent. We had our own architect and he worked well with the Kingspan Century team and we are delighted with the result.”
