Kingspan Century completes successful energy efficiency seminars

Kingspan Century will host the final in a series of energy efficiency seminars tailored specifically to the needs of selfbuilders and small independent developers. The final seminar, to be held in Limerick on 24 June 2008, rounds off a successful and informative series held at various locations across Ireland.

The seminars have included presentations on renewable technologies, insulation and U-values, air-tightness and the benefits of specifying energy saving windows, doors and chimney solutions. The aim was to raise awareness about how to build the most thermally efficient homes and how to achieve Building Energy Ratings (BER) of C1 – A1.

The information was provided by Kingspan Century, a leading manufacturer and supplier of off-site MMC systems, Schiedel Advanced Chimney Technology and a leading energy efficiency window manufacturer.

Details were also available on the recently launched collection of renewable technologies which comprises the Kingspan Ventilation System, the Kingspan Ventilation and Heating System and the Kingspan Thermal Solar Systems.

The seminars have been held in Galway, Belfast, Meath, Athlone, Monaghan, Dublin, Kilkenny, Cork, Sligo and Letterkenny.

The Limerick seminar will be held on 24 June at the Green Hills Hotel, between 5.30pm and 7.30pm.
